While going to a public range and shooting behind a bench can be fun and help with your handgun fundamentals, it provides very little defensive training.
You can be the best target shooter, but if you can present your firearm from a concealed hoster and put two shots on target in under two seconds, the likley of loosing a lifethreatening encounter is significant.
The difference between target shooting and defensive handgun training is gaining the mindset, skills and mental fortitude to overcome an actual lifethreaten situation.

Handgun Skill Builder Classes
Handgun Skill Builder 1 (HSB1)
Do you know the 7 fundamentals you need to shoot your pistol accurately in the heat of the moment? When every milisecond county, you must be able to rely on muscle memory and react instinctively and instantly. This course is designed to teach you the fundamental techniques necessary to defend yourself in a lethal force encounter.
We also offer gun rentals and ammo purchases for this class. See "Group Classes" or "Private Classes" for details.
Handgun Skill Builder 2 (HSB2)
As a follow-up to Handgun Skill Builder 1 (HSB1), this class builds upon the techniques needed to become an expert with your pistol. Our drills focus on maintaining the skills learned in HSB1. We'll also be introducing stress in a safe and controlled environment., to help reinforcing muscle memory and tighter groupoings for shooting in a short time frame.
In addition, we will be adding strong and weak hand shooting tecniques, target transitions between multiple adverswaries, turning and shooting from the Right, Left and Backside and more!
Handgun Skill Builder 3 (HSB3)
As a follow-up to our Handgun Skill Builder 2 (HSB2) course, this class introduces a variety of new advanced gun handling and shooting techniques.
The Handgun Skill Builder 3 (HSB3) course provides you with the tools and techniques needed in a defensive encounter. Now it's time to learn the applicantion of those techniques, practice the critical decision making processes, and regain the skills required to win a life threatening defensive encounter.
This course is primarily composed of unconventional shooting techniques, shooting on the move, and scenario-based training. This cours is an advanced-level training designed to prepare you for and actual life threatening defensive encounter.
